Grading Policies

All students are expected to do their very best in the Digital Technology classroom. Students are graded on three aspects:
1. Academics - students are graded on the quality of their work and the effort they apply to accomplishing classroom projects.
2. Conduct - students are graded on their conduct when in computer class. This applies to following Lab Protocols and St. Anthony Rules of Conduct and Student Learning Expectations.
3. Effort - students are graded on the effort they put towards their projects and classroom work. Students should have a positive attitude about their work and should always exert their best effort.

Grade K performance is assessed at the end of each quarter. Grading scale:
P = Proficient
I = Improving
N = Needs more practice
T = To be taught

Grades 1st to 8th performance is assessed at the end of each quarter. Rubrics are used to grade classroom projects and classwork. Grading scale:
E = Excellent
S+ = Above average
S = Average
S- = Below average
NI = Needs improvement
T = To be taught
